GLASTONBURY GIRL made by Jan Horrox
Glastonbury Girl has come straight from the 70's and the early Glastonbury festivals. Actually she is alive and well in Glastonbury 2020! This is where I live most of the time so I have much opportunity to see the people in Glastonbury town and visiting the Festival in June every year.
This Glastonbury Girl is about 18" tall with her stand. She has a fully wired armature and is attached to her stand. Her indian baggy trousers are habitai silk hand dyed, tunic is a print soft cotton with a sequin trim. Her gilet is hand crocheted with a fine rayon yarn and her necklace is seed beads from the 70's. She has dreads made from hand dyed Wenslydale locks with some embroidered flowers. Glastonbury Girl sports a fringed suede shoulder bag and is carrying a hand dyed cotton drill rug for sitting on at the festival.
This is a one off doll made by Jan from her own pattern.
Will come with a certificate of authenticity.
