A WORKSHOP TO MAKE 'A DOLL IN A DAY'
at THE CLIFTONVILLE HOTEL in CROMER, NORFOLK. NR279AS

We will be making a 14" jointed cloth doll with a flat face and drawn features. Lots of patterns for different garments will be included.
My aim with this is to create a cloth doll which is simpler and quicker to make without a lot of the fiddly details which cause people to get fed-up!
This is a first workshop I have held for making this doll, and because of this I am charging a discounted price as I shall be wanting your feed back on the doll as well as the workshop.
The day will include a lovely buffet lunch, tea and coffee provided by The Cliftonville.
I will supply templates, cotton fabric, stuffing, buttons and some sample yarns and fleece for hair.
You can bring a sewing machine for basic sewing but I will supply the first stage already stitched - so you will only need to cut out and complete the remaining stages.
I will have a sewing machine there should it be needed.
The pictures here show a few dolls I made last year and I am making a few more at the moment which I will post as examples of what an be done.
