"Sayuri is a Japanese lady doll.  She is dressed in 3 kimonos: the first under garment is called a 'Juban' with an Obi.  The second kimono is an embroidered and lined full length kimono with long sleeves and an embroidered Obi.  The third and outer kimono is lined and lightly padded.  The lining is embroidered and also the outer garment.  The precise instructions for all the embroidery are not included in detail but there are many colour photos as usual, and good directions of how to achieve this.  Sayuri has wooden shoes and mohair/wool fibre hair."
